LOVING KINDNESS MEDITATION

Assisted Thai Yoga is a dynamic, therapeutic approach to healing that uses yoga through active stretching to promote physical, energetic, and spiritual well being. This deeply relaxing, pain relieving, and soul retrieving blend of assisted yoga, mindful movement, and meditation encourages increased range of motion, relief of pain and muscle tension, muscle lengthening and flexibility, and improved lymph and blood circulation. This is a loving kindness meditation which involves mentally sending goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards others.

Whatever your reasons for visiting, I am so glad you are here. The first step in healing is reaching out to ask for help. I’m here to help YOU.

FACE IT, LIFE CAN BE STRESSFUL!
Drawing from traditional yoga, Thai medicine and other healing practices, Assisted Thai Yoga considers the demands we place on ourselves.  Sometimes the best thing that we can do for ourselves is nothing intelligently.  Give yourself empty quiet space and simply rest while the instructor does the work for you.

We will sift through the layers of limiting beliefs and old habits, holding patterns and tension in the body, and release energetic blockages to bring your entire being back to a state of natural equilibrium.

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO DO ASSISTED THAI YOGA?

  • The technique where you get twisted into a knot by the instructor.
  • The yoga instructor does all the work for you.
  • I offer 60, 90 & 120 Minute Sessions.

You Are Worth It

In the past I have been guilty of letting others make me feel worthless. I know that I am fucking awesome, amazing and beautiful. Love yourself.

Authenticity

Be Your Amazing Self

As a former people pleaser, I feel free from trying so hard. Life is way easier being honest and letting my true self be seen.

You were born to be real not to be perfect

Get Real Not Perfect

I no longer feel that competitive drive to be perfect or the best. I am beautifully flawed, real and that in itself if perfect.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED SESSION LENGTH?

Sessions range from 60, 90 to 120 minutes. Traditionally, an Assisted Thai Yoga session is 90 Minutes – this gives ample time for addressing the entire body. If a specific ailment is present, 120 minutes is recommended to fully address the issue.

AS PROFESSIONAL HEALERS WE ARE DEDICATED TO PROVIDING A COMPLETELY SAFE AND ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE FOR OUR CLIENTS. OUR WORK IS STRICTLY THERAPEUTIC AND NON-SEXUAL.

NEW CLIENTS

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your session to fill out a health history form and to discuss your areas of focus. If you are late to your session, we will do our best to accommodate you for the time you have left without penalizing the following client.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL SESSION LIKE?

Assisted Thai Yoga is done on a firm mat on the floor with the client dressed in light comfortable clothes. Typically a session lasts between 90 minutes to 2 hours. The practitioner uses their thumbs, palms, elbows, knees, and feet to apply a combination of acupressure, gentle rocking and twisting, joint and spine mobilizations, and assisted yoga stretches. With the healer using body weight instead of strength, and a steady and meditative rhythm, Assisted Thai Yoga looks and feels like a graceful dance between giver and receiver.

What should I do after my session?

You are free to go about your day, but I recommend that you take a little time to integrate your experience. Take a long walk through the park. Enjoy a warm cup of tea. Journal. Meditate. Take a hot shower or bath. Nourish your body with healthy foods. My goal with these sessions to gently nudge you onto a path of self-care and love. Do whatever makes you feel relaxed and happy.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Assisted Thai Yoga is performed clothed. Please wear something comfortable and free from snaps, zippers, or buttons. You may also want to bring warm layers in case you get cold during your session. If needed, clothes will be provided.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ASSISTED THAI YOGA?

Assisted Thai Yoga is like hitting the reset button on your body, mind, and spirit. By freeing the muscles and flow of vital energy in the body, Assisted Thai Yoga can improve posture, breathing, flexibility, digestion, and circulation. Muscles are stretched, inner organs toned, and emotional and nervous tension is released. Often a deep sense of peace is experienced during and after a treatment.

Although the main emphasis in the practice of Assisted Thai Yoga is usually on health prevention (as all disease manifests first on the energy level and can be treated there before it becomes physical), it can also be of great therapeutic benefit for a range of specific problems and conditions such as headaches, back pain, digestive disorders, shoulder and neck tension, joint pain, menstruation problems, insomnia, and other stress related conditions.
